PLASMON+

What is Plasmon+?

Plasmon+ is a quality and risk monitoring solution that tracks the environmental conditions products are exposed to throughout the supply chain and calculates the overall impact of these conditions on product quality. After products leave production, they are exposed to various factors such as temperature and humidity during storage, transportation, and distribution. Even small deviations in these variables may seem insignificant on their own, but when accumulated over the journey, they shorten the product’s shelf life and lead to quality loss. Plasmon+ measures this cumulative effect and determines the risk level for each product.

Why is Plasmon+ Monitoring Necessary?

Most systems only show real-time values. For example, they provide the current temperature. However, this information alone does not answer questions such as:
• How are these conditions affecting product quality?
• What will happen if the current trend continues?
• When and where should I take action?
Plasmon+ analyzes real-time data to provide clear answers to these questions. The goal is not just to measure, but to detect risks and take preventive action before any quality loss occurs.

How Does It Make Blind Spots Visible?

Products are usually monitored at the production and destination points. However, the most critical risks often occur:
• In transport vehicles,
• Inside containers,
• In temporary storage areas.
Sapma Payı defines these areas as virtual locations and tracks the product journey end-to-end. This way, the entire process from point A to point Z becomes visible. As a result, blind spots that were previously unmeasurable also become part of quality management.

How Does It Calculate the Cumulative Effect?

A single short-term temperature deviation is usually not critical. However, when such small deviations repeat throughout the journey, the product’s structure can be compromised and its shelf life shortened. Instead of evaluating each measurement individually, Plasmon+ calculates the cumulative effect of these deviations over time. This way, the true risk status of the product is revealed numerically.

What Does Plasmon+ Tell You?

The Plasmon IoT system says:
"Temperature is currently 8°C."

Plasmon+, on the other hand, says:
"If these conditions continue, your product’s shelf life will decrease by 15% and the risk level is rising."

In other words, it doesn’t just show the current situation, but also its impact on the product and the potential outcome. This enables teams to take timely and accurate action.

Not Reactive, But Proactive Management

In many operations, problems are only noticed after the damage has occurred: the product is spoiled, waste is generated, complaints arise. With Plasmon+, risks become visible as they occur. This way:
• Preventive action can be taken before product loss occurs,
• Energy is not wasted unnecessarily,
• Process disruptions are addressed before they escalate.
This approach shifts quality management from reactive to proactive.

Product-Based Monitoring

Plasmon+ performs product-based monitoring, not location-based. This means the system shows not just the conditions of a warehouse, but also the conditions a specific pallet or box is exposed to throughout its journey. This allows a separate risk profile to be created for each product, making quality management far more precise.

How Does It Work with Existing Systems?

Plasmon+ is designed to work seamlessly with your existing sensors and infrastructure.
• It can collect data from different sensors,
• It can incorporate external data logger records into the system,
• It can be used alongside your current software.
Instead of setting up a new infrastructure, it helps you generate more value from the data you already have.

Packaging status + operational moment = more accurate impact assessment

The same temperature deviation creates different impacts when the product is unpacked / boxed / palletized. It also changes depending on whether the deviation occurs during storage / loading-unloading / logistics.
Plasmon+ uses this context:
• Product-level packaging status selection
• Product-level operational stage selection
• Location (process step) modeling for moments such as loading ramps, transfer points, and waiting areas
Result: Less noise, clearer priorities, and a more realistic quality impact.

Benefits for Your Business

With Plasmon+:
• Waste and spoilage are reduced: Product loss decreases.
• Energy costs are lowered: Cooling systems operate more efficiently.
• Operational efficiency improves: Time and human resources are used more effectively.
This provides a direct cost advantage while maintaining quality.

The Entire Process on a Single Screen

All products, risk scores, and detailed analyses are presented on a single dashboard. Teams can view the overall status of operations in real-time and make quick decisions.

Why Plasmon+ for ISO 50001 and Green Transformation?

ISO 50001 is an Energy Management System (EnMS) standard aimed at continuously improving an organization’s energy performance. At the core of this improvement lies measurable, comparable, and sustainable data. Plasmon+ goes beyond merely measuring environmental conditions in energy-intensive processes—especially in cooling and climate control. It makes the impact of these conditions on energy consumption and product quality visible, providing concrete data to support the energy efficiency analyses required under ISO 50001. Fully compatible with the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) approach of ISO 50001, Plasmon+ strengthens monitoring and analysis processes with early warnings, allowing teams to clearly track the effectiveness of their actions. By integrating with SCADA, data loggers, and other energy management systems, it facilitates feeding operational data into EnPI and EnB frameworks. As a result, Plasmon+ makes ISO 50001 applications reportable, auditable, and aligned with green transformation incentives.
